THE GROCERS

Today we went to the fresh grocer and cousins. We first went to the cousin's grocery there was alot of people who were from different nationalities. I bought some goya drinks and they were Delicious. Then we went fresh grocer and there was an altercation but it ended.

Fairmont park

Friday we went to Fairmont park. It was fun , we played basketball. It was a day for fun for all groups.I Almost passed out because of my Asama. But it was fun.

READING TERMINAL

Last week we went to Reading terminal. There was many shops for foods. There was stores for like healthy foods. There were stores for bland foods and rice products also. Reading terminal was fun.

FRIDAY

On Friday we went to Urban Archives.We seen old pictures of North Philadelphia. There were pictures of old of basket ball players from Philadelphia like Wilt Chamberlain and Dr. J. We also had to research the documents on our tables. My document was about broken down homes and dilapidated buildings.

MID WIZZA

So far the B.I.T.S program has been awesome we have the best mentor Adil. He mad cool he the best but i mentioned that before though.

FORMER MAYOR JOHN STREET

Today we had a seminar with former mayor John Street. John Street came to talk to us. He gave words of encouragement for the B.I.T.S program. He also talked to us about staying focus and not letting anything distract us. He ended with this quote "If a man/woman stopped to throw a stone at every barking dog they will not reach their destination".

NORRIS SQUARE PARK

On Friday we went to "Norris Square Park". It was really fun. We played basketball in the rain. People was slipping everywhere because there was not any friction. It was funny also because on Friday we got paid. So we basically got paid for playing basketball which seemed to me funny.
